So i work at an alt/starter repair shop/ parts store ad we sell about 20 batteries a day..... we also buy junk batteries.... but i have yet to figure out what the groupings are..... i know what cars use what batteries but idk wich is best for under the hood car audio...... i mean there are so many... g21 g24 g31 g34.... i ean the list goes on and on and on....what is the diffrence and which is best for under the hood car audio bc im not putting an sealed car audio battery under the hood and expose it to all that heat when i can get batterys for next to nothing!!!!

o yeh.... anyone who needs any car parts.....espcially cv axels, used batteris, alternators, or starters give me a shout.

"Groups" are just sizes of batteries. It doesn't exactly make any one battery better than the other just a different size. Group31 batteries are typically recommended because that's what size the larger car audio batteries are. Larger the battery the more power on tap.

I always recommend someone get the biggest battery they can fit under the hood. A group31 battery will fit under your hood with slight modification to the inner fender. The heat from under the hood isn't bad for car audio batteries. Batteries actually perform better hot than cold.
