Ok all of you konw i have in my blazer a nightshade 18 and a 2000d with 3 group 36 yellow tops well i have never had a problem with this set up quaking with no break my voltage doesn't even flench when i turn it up well today a guy came to the shop and wanted me to let him see what the sundown stickers on the windows was all bout i turned it up bout half way no problems on a song i always play to flex it out a lil bit when i went to go ahead and stick it to it the amp went in to protect i turned it off and then it did it again every time i go to turn it up it flips to protect i check all my batteries all my connections and my voltage all were good i cant figure it out any ideas what could be goin on like i said it plays fine at bout half volume anything over and it shuts off???

i have that same problem with mine on my mids and highs amps. do u have a eq between the HU and amp? if not, its most likely ur HU or rca's. mine was my HU.

Have to checked the coils/ohms on your sub?

i think u are playing two low of a song cuz that box is only tuned at 45 and if u are tring to play slowed down music or chopped and screwed, it might be making the sub bottom out of leave the pole gap whic will send the amp into protect, try playing a higher tuned song at high volume and see if it still shuts off...

ill try that at work tommorrow im there all day as usuall it have never done it before tho and i wasn't playing slowed down just normal lil jon push that ni**a which is round 45 hz i dont konw i think my new set up will be able to play the slowed down fine
